I got no reason, to lie to you What’s in the cards, that’s what I do I was born a-running & laughing out loud With my feet on the ground & my head in the clouds You better run, oh baby you better run I got a blade like lightning, silver bullets in my gun
I’m short & I’m tall, I’m black & I’m white Sometimes I be wrong, sometimes I be right I’m iron & steel, I’m bad to the bone You come looking for trouble, honey don’t you come alone
I seen ’em come, & I seen ’em go, I seen things & seen people, that nobody knows I’m talking in pictures and I’m painting them black, I seen Satan coming honey in a big black Cadillac

W.H. Auden
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead, Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood. For nothing now can ever come to any good.
GET REAL you old faggot!!
'To reach the eternal mysteries about the existence'.

There was a boy, a very strange enchanted boy. They said he wandered very far, very far, over land and sea. A little shy, and sad of eye, and very wise was he. And then one day, a magic day he passed my way. And while he spoke of many things, fools and kings, this he said to me: The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return.
*snyft* vad vackert. /M

It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea, That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of ANNABEL LEE; And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea; But we loved with a love that was more than love- I and my Annabel Lee; With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago, In this kingdom by the sea, A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling My beautiful Annabel Lee; So that her highborn kinsman came And bore her away from me, To shut her up in a sepulchre In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven, Went envying her and me- Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea) That the wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love Of those who were older than we- Of many far wiser than we- And neither the angels in heaven above, Nor the demons down under the sea, Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride, In the sepulchre there by the sea, In her tomb by the sounding sea.

Winners & Losers - Social Distortion

Winners and losers, turn the pages of my life We’re beggars and choosers, with all the struggles and the strife I got no reason to turn my head and look the other way We’re good and we’re evil, which one will I be today?
There’s saints and sinners Life’s a gamble and you might lose There’s cowards and heroes Both have been known now to break the rules There’s lovers and haters The strong and the weak will all have their day We’re devils and angels Which one will I be today?
Are you happy now with all the choices you’ve made? Are there times in life when you know you should’ve stayed? Will you compromise and then realize the price is too much to pay? Winners and losers, which one will you be today?
There’s a light and a dark side Standing at the crossroads, there we’ll meet There’s prophets and fools there The lies and the truth, will be at our feet I got a reason to turn my head and look the other way Its heaven and hell here, which one will I live today?
Are you happy now with all the choices you’ve made? Are there times in life when you know you should’ve stayed? Did you compromise and then realize the price was too much to pay? Winners and losers, which one will you be today?
Which one will you be today? Which one will I be today?

Min "all time favourite record" är Astral Weeks av Van Morrison. Den här textsnutten är från låten Ballerina:
Well, I may be wrong But something deep in my heart tells me I'm right and I don't think so You know I saw the writing on the wall When you came up to me Child, you were heading for a fall But if it gets to you And you feel like you just can't go on All you gotta do Is ring a bell Step right up, and step right up And step right up Just like a ballerina Stepping lightly Alright, well it's getting late Yes it is, yes it is And this time I forget to slip into your slumber The light is on the left side of your head And I'm standing in your doorway And I'm mumbling and I can't remember the last thing that ran through my head
